Gina Taylor is sick of blind dates. She knows her friends mean well, but she is happy with her life. She becomes unsure when she meets Adam Wilson. Now memories she did her best to forget start returning, and she must figure out how to deal with them. Otherwise she might add something else to her regret list.
Adam Wilson was burned while trying to find the woman he wants to marry. Now he thinks he may have found her, but there are some complications. Will they test his faith too much? Is he up for the challenge?
Gina has not been attracted to a man in a long time and she is tired of her friends trying to help her. However, when her boss introduces her to Adam, she cannot get the man out of her mind. She is in for a surprise when she visits her brother and discovers that he and Adam are friends. Gina, struggling with her experiences growing up, realizes that something is missing between her and Adam. Can she share what is troubling her with him?
I am thoroughly impressed with Ms. Patrick’s writing style. It is simple and the characters are very real and relatable. I enjoyed this book of faith because it showed how anyone could give up on their faith. Real life presents problems, and that is why I love having my faith; I have someone I can talk to when no one is around. Ms. Patrick is a wonderful writer who impacts one’s faith and emotions as well as showing how to ask for forgiveness. It may not always be easy, but that is what made this story so endearing to me.
