No one enjoys pain. It can come in light strokes that soon dissipate or lead to chronic conditions with hardly little or no treatment to stop the severe blows. In fact persistent pain can limit an activity or completely stop any enjoyment in life. Statistics show that approximately over 35 million Americans suffer from some form of chronic pain. Dr. Brady was one who carried excessive pain around daily that limited much of his movement and leisure interest with his family. After being told that he had the back of an eighty-year-old man and might as well learn to live with it, he sought answers to alleviate the disabling stress.
After reading about migraine and tension headaches, fibromyalgia, neck pain, extreme muscle aches, and a list longer than Santa’s filled with chronic ailments that many had encountered only to be diagnosed with there is nothing we can do to help, he did his own research. By using the mind, body and spirit regimen he wrote his own prescription and for four weeks concentrated on this method. He also started the Brady Institute for Health to offer ways to get around the pain without using drugs or surgery.
Dr. Brady’s six-week course and careful management gives some promise to those with acute suffering and over eighty per cent of his patients did attain successful pain relief in weeks. Pain Free For Life begins a journey into learning about pain and ways to living without it. This book has many basic steps that help the sufferer understand the situation and what techniques play an important part in conquering an active life again.
Dr. Brady, along with William Proctor give a formulated view from the understanding of the relentless aches, the hope of pain-free life, an AOS pain catalog, to what is causing the pain in this remarkable book. The scope of findings in this book is enormous and gives the reader some sanguinity that there is a silver lining out there if one will at least give it a try. With so many turning to a quick pill anymore for ease of pain, one should at least search for answers, beyond drugs that might hold a key to once again living pain free and enjoying a normal life.
