Four countries. Four cousins. Only one remains unmarried when their Grand Tour takes them to Rome. David, Viscount Penton, is already intrigued by Donna Vittoria when he saves her from a rake during her come-out ball, but when she turns the tables and accuses him of being a rogue, he’s on the defensive. How could she think he, an always amiable and well-behaved gentleman, capable of such behavior?
Meanwhile, Vittoria’s great aunt Armenia is being courted by an American who insists he’s in love with her. Can an older spinster overcome years of disappointment with men to welcome a true gentleman into her life?
