Jemma Rae Keith decides to leave her boyfriend, Marty, after catching him in a compromising position with another woman. She chooses to go into photography business, something she enjoys.
Anthony Giovanni, Tony, is an educated, thoughtful, well-traveled man. He has no idea his cousin was dating Jemma’s ex the same time he was two-timing Jemma. The only thing that concerns him is the heat he feels when he and Jemma are alone.
Jemma cannot believe Marty has been dating three women at the same time and she never suspected anything. She turns to her family for support and six months later, opens up a shop, Always the Photographer, Never the Bride. Once she meets Tony, her mind over-actively dreams of sexy thoughts with him. Tony is the cousin of Kate, who is planning a marriage to Marty, Jemma’s ex, but it appears that Marty has some secrets. When the relationship with Kate and Marty takes a curve ball, Jemma is afraid Tony will put a hit on Marty. She really does not wish to see the man dead. Tony is surprised to learn she thinks he is some mob boss. With much at stake, Jemma hopes she and Tony can find their way back to each other once the dust settles.
Click captures the essence of many players in this fast moving read. The reader could share in the pain, and anger, of Jemma when she learns the infidelity of Marty. Tony is a wonderful character. I love the way he and Jemma click. Their warm enticing moments are a delicious asset to the storyline. The well-rounded secondary characters add some zest along the way. T. Sue VerSteeg fashions a story that keeps the reader spellbound. The exciting twists and turns, with some added wit, make this a great read.
