Sky has a small farm where he has lived for five years and he will do anything to make Brooke feel welcome. He wants to understand her, learn what is troubling her and help her get over any hurt. The only problem is, he is afraid she has been so traumatized he will never be able to open up her heart to trust him.
Rocky Mountain Oasis is one of those stories that make the heart feel glad. The reader is given strong characters. Sky and Brooke are both wise in their years as they reach out to the other. I love the way their relationship slowly buds. Lynnette Bonner sprinkles some Biblical verses along the way allowing the reader to see how grounded Sky is when it comes to his principals and ethics, not only for his love of God, but how he cares for women. Ms. Bonner delivers stirring romance, a bit of intrigue, and the peril of being a woman living among harsh times in a read that is hard to put down.
