This is not your typical Regency Romance with a young naïve debutante and a handsome lord. Both protagonists in this story have been through some very harsh times, which makes them more relatable and realistic. The author has a good feel for the time period and the story has many unexpected twists and turns. It is also a good bit spicier than the usual Regency, and this author writes exceptionally good love scenes. Definitely take a look at this Regency for grown-ups.
