January 2019: Fact in Fiction
~ Elizabeth Coldwell ~
CTR asked:
How much of your real life bleeds over into your books? And do you worry that someone will be able to tell the fact from the fiction?
Elizabeth Coldwell said:
I do take inspiration from things that have happened in my life, or snatches of conversation I overhear, and I have occasionally sneaked an in-joke only people who know me would understand into my stories, but I don’t worry anyone will think my work is autobiographical. Unless they really believe I can shift into a lion, or am a billionaire business owner, or lived in a castle in the 14th century…
