If you’re new to ebooks, you might have not heard of me, but I’ve been ebook published since the wild west days in 2005 when Amazon wasn’t even in the business. My website has more info, but it doesn’t show the some 14 publishers I’ve had, the 60+ books written and published 100+ times. When you’ve started writing in 1992 the numbers build up. I had publisher trouble a few years ago, and have since started my own press to put out my work, Kapheira is the name of an island I made up in a story and is now woven through a number of my books.
As a Peace Corps volunteer in Kenya a few years back I traveled quite a bit and now I just wish I was. A lot of the places I’ve written about I’ve been to, a lot of them I haven’t. Rafting on the Nile in Uganda, living in a Montana ghost town, Puerto Rican beaches, African safaris, Mayan ruins, European youth hostels, forts on the Ghana coast all fill my scrapbooks. I still travel in my head every time I write even if I don’t get out as much as I wish. I currently live in the Pacific Northwest and look forward to filling many more pages. As my bio says I love to travel, many places I’ve been, others I just dreamed of going. From Ancient Egypt to the modern day and around the world I’ve taken my readers. I haven’t given up travel I’ll be leaving for Kenya in less than two weeks, to help with the water problem in the village where I live in the Peace Corps. I’ll be staying for three months and I’m having trouble concentrating its coming up so soon.
Travel through history without ever leaving your chair, its been my motto since 2005 and its never been more true. So sit back and I’ll take you on a journey.
