Good morning all. I expect it is cold where most of us are today and in some cases snowy or stormy. Here in southern New Mexico the sun is out but there are scatterd clouds and we may get rain in a day or two. We did get a little snow the past week but most of it is gone now. Chilly though but milder than it has been. I walked my dog without gloves on this morning! This is a new dog, BTW. There is no way to “replace” my dear Belle but Ginger is a good girl and young, frisky and keeps me going. I gotta have a dog!! I was lucky to find her, needing a new home and such a sweetie.
So we made it through 2012 which went out with more of a whimper than a bang. The world did not end but we did have our share of natural disasters and they certainly felt like catastrophies to those effected! If you suffered from the myriad earthquakes, forest and wild fires, floods, tornados, hurricanes etc. my heart goes out to you and yours. I’m going to do a couple of special drawings today for folks who did make it through one of these disasters and share a little about it with us here today.
Anyway I decided to make our theme for today apocalypse, catastrophe and end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it stories. This has been a popular theme in science fiction for ever and some in paranormal and even romance so fasten your seat belts and let’s take off for some adventures and excitement!
