My BY MOONLIGHT world has slipped into the SHADOWS with its newest installment HUNTER OF SHADOWS (11/29/11).
The first four books of my dark paranormal series for Pocket, beginning with MASKED BY MOONLIGHT and followed by CHASED BY MOONLIGHT, CAPTURED BY MOONLIGHT, and BOUND BY MOONLIGHT, were unique in that they featured the same hero and heroine: shape-shifting mob enforcer Max Savoie and tough NOPD detective Charlotte Caissie. The BY MOONLIGHT world has now expanded.
“Gideon introduces complex new characters to launch a second series set in a New Orleans inhabited by secretive shape-shifters. Sparks fly immediately,” says Publishers Weekly in its review. “Vivid writing, intriguing plot twists, and a satisfying ending will keep readers coming back to Gideon’s magical NOLA.”
For those who haven’t tried the series yet, this is the perfect time to come aboard as the BY MOONLIGHT world is viewed through the eyes of a new hero and heroine: Silas MacCreedy, an intensely focused Shifter working undercover for the NOPD and Nica Fraser, the steely assassin who’s determined to distract him from his agenda. For those who are Max and CeeCee fans, don’t despair! They’re strong secondary characters in HUNTER OF SHADOWS and in the next book in the series, SEEKER OF SHADOWS (6/26/12), and their storyline continues to evolve.
A hero and heroine who continue through several books in a series are common in Urban Fantasy but not so much in paranormal romance. Do you like following the same characters through more than one book or do you prefer a different couple for each Happily-Ever-After?

13 years agoI like both but if it's following the same couple I want them to evole, their own character and their relationship. I want them to face different issues as opposed to the same one over and over.

13 years agoI enjoy the same couple as much as new couples. Hunter of Shadows sounds very interesting.
