Vicki!

My name is Vicki and I’ve loved reading for as long as I can remember.  Back in around 5^th grade I remember the teacher telling my parents I was reading way above my grade level and they should encourage it as much as possible.  I had a library card and begged to go as often as possible.  Back then it was Nancy Drew, Harriet the Spy, The Secret Garden, Heidi, etc.  As a teenager on summer break, too young to have a job I started raiding my mom’s romance collection.  I stuck with romance for a long time but nowadays I read just about anything.  About 2 years ago a co-worker convinced me to try audio books and now I love it.  I listen to books on the way to & from work, and at work.  At night and on weekends I read books.  I still use the library I got my first card with and tend to check out more than I can read before the due date. I used to dream of writing a book but haven’t really pursued it.  I can come up with an idea but turning it into a book has so far exceeded me. I also love movies & TV (even better if based on a book).

I work for a family (not mine) Heat & Air company in accounts receivable and recently finished earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Business.  I have a 26 year old son who still lives at home (his girlfriend lives with us). We share 3 dogs, 5 cats and 2 birds.
