Ethan is a member of the Guild of Aurora and it is his job to protect her at any cost and help her get the training she needs so her powers can be fully hers. Will Sophia be able to come into her powers before it is too late?

The Advice Girl is a good read with a unique storyline. I did find it a little off-putting how the book goes from first person narrative to third person narrative. Ms. Shaw tells this story rather than showing the story so we do not always get a good grasp on how exactly one of the characters is feeling or reacting. It will be interesting to see where the second book will go from here. I am intrigued enough from this tale to find out.
