Tank recently patched in with The Brothers of Menace MC, finally finding where he belonged. He could not be happier, but his happiness quickly ends when his sister shows up in the parking lot of his MC carrying a three day old baby.

Bunny barely survived an awful childhood and has physical and emotional scars to prove it. She has not forgotten Tank and often thinks about the night they shared together before she ran away from him. She is back in town, living in the childhood home that haunted her for so many years and barely making ends meet. The last person she expects to find on her doorstep is Tank.

After hearing that Lila’s ex will likely go after Bunny to get to her, Tank calls on his club for reinforcements and sets out to find Bunny and bring her back to the clubhouse so he can protect her. Within hours of seeing Tank again, Bunny confirms what he always knew, she left because she was scared and it was his fault. But like him, her feelings never changed for Tank.

This is a relatively short book that takes place over a few weeks, except for the epilogue. Although much depth was given to Bunny’s character, I felt less was given to Tank and Lila. Bunny refers to Lila and Tank as her family; I think a few flashbacks or memories of this time together could have added depth to the story. No closure was provided for Lila and Wrath; perhaps this was intentional and their story will be shared at a later time.
