I don't get to read as much as I'd like to, but I do still always have at least one book going, and I fill all the little spaces of my day with reading for pleasure (plus a huge chunk right before bed, of course!).
Here are some of the books I've enjoyed a lot. They're all recent reads for me, though not necessarily recent releases.
Miss You Most of All by Elizabeth Bass
Women's fiction that made me sob, and nailed one scene so freaking perfectly I had to write to the author and scold her for making me scare my kids, I cried so hard. 🙂
Too Hot to Touch by Louisa Edwards
There's just something about her voice that grabs hold of me and won't let me put the book down. I love her heroes and heroines, but even more, the surrounding cast of characters.
Night Betrayed by Joss Ware
Post-apocalyptic paranormal romance with heroines I want to be and heroes I want to be with. I can't find anything about when the next book might be out, and it's frustrating me. 🙂
Something to Talk About by MJ Fredrick
I thought this story might be too tame for me, but Fredrick nailed the characters' emotions, and I devoured it!
If I Die by Rachel Vincent
Latest book in the series, though not, hopefully, the last. The exciting thing about YA romances is that there are often two potential "loves," or, in a series, sometimes an evolution in relationships. That's exciting and unpredictable. But the risk is that the heroine might not end up with the guy you prefer. In this one, she did. 🙂 And it was AWESOME.
Your turn! Tell me some great reads you've finished lately, and help me add to my TBR pile!
