Emir is a sheik, a man of power, but all his wealth was not enough to keep his sister safe from harm. One of his most trusted friends and employees sends him an agent he considers the best. Emir was not expecting the best to be a woman.
K.J, a.k.a Kate, is not surprised by Emirs reaction to her gender, but she convinces him to let her stay even if she had to get physical. K.J is aware Emir is vulnerable because of his emotional pain and fear, so she is determined to help him see clearly.
Emir and Kate must work together to find his sister. In a very short time Emir comes to realize he needs Kate for more than finding his sister and before it is over she will know who she belongs to. Can Emir and Kate untangle the web of his families past before it is too late to save his sister?
What woman can resist a Sheik, especially when he falls for a very independent and smart woman? I love the first meeting between Kate and Emir because she sure did turn his world to spinning. Kate is an outstanding heroine because she is smart and helpful to her man and no one who is the damsel in distress. The story is a winding road which leads back into the past and a place no one thought it would ever go, including the reader.
