Is anyone awake yet? Santa is moving right along. I hope he has lots of snacks and something hot to drink. How about a little snapps in that hot chocolate? heh heh. Rudolph knows the way home. Santa is now headed for Onekotan in the Kuril Islands. Wow! That's a new one on me.
Isn't it comforting to know that NORAD is on the job? Nothing, no enemy planes, alien ships, or jolly men dressed in red can slip through their net. Too bad they won't share any of their top secret Santa pictures with us!
I'm giving away a copy of Anju Gattani's Duty and Desire.
Sheetal Prasad has it all: youth, beauty, wealth and education. But when this modern, Indian woman surrenders love for honor and marries into India’s titanic ‘royal family’, these very advantages turn against her and she is stripped of her freedom.
Meet the Dhanraj’s—a powerful family bound together by a web of lies where infidelity, greed, secrets and hidden identities lurk beneath the lush tapestry. The Dhanraj’s have plenty to hide and will do what it takes to mask the truth from the world.
As Sheetal peels back the layers of deceit, she confronts
a haunting reality and is threatened by the blazes of passion she ignited.

13 years agoI'm drinking some of the special brew blend of tea my friend made at Adaigo Teas for another mutual friend. Its based around Sheldon Cooper (from Big Bang Theory) and it simply delightful…though I admit if I could spike it with something I would XD
Anju the book sounds intriguing–I've always been fascinated by India's culture and history (I blame Xena for this, they visited India in one of the seasons and though that's a highly dramatized and fantastical show, it left an impression on me), but its one of the few foreign cultures that I have books on.
