St. Nicked by Damon SuedeSt. Nicked: There`s no gift like the present.
Holidays this fun can’t be legal. When a cat burglar dressed as Santa targets a glitzy Manhattan high-rise, the holidays get unhinged.
As superintendent, Mark Almeida needs to keep the residents safe, and as a former NYPD cop, he knows he can crack the case without any help… until he meets a suave stranger too handsome for his own good who pushes buttons Mark didn’t know he had.
As the holly-jolly crime spree unfolds, Mark wrestles with duty and desire while juggling festive clues, lavish gifts, and stolen kisses in time for a truly crooked Christmas.
St. Nicked, the newest contemporary romance from Damon Suede, combines the tension of a mystery with feel-good romance in a way only Damon can deliver.

Damon Suede… between soft and rough
Damon Suede grew up out-n-proud deep in the anus of right-wing America, and escaped as soon as it was legal. He has lived all over: Houston, New York, London, Prague. Along the way, he’s earned his crust as a model, a messenger, a promoter, a programmer, a sculptor, a singer, a stripper, a bookkeeper, a bartender, a techie, a teacher, a director... but writing has ever been his bread and butter. He has been happily partnered for over a decade with the most loving, handsome, shrewd, hilarious, noble man to walk this planet.
Addictions: sweetness that isn’t sentimental, wit that isn’t bitter, strength that isn’t cruel. Allergies: professional victims, half-assery, clichés.
Beyond romance fiction, Damon has been writing for print, stage, and screen for over three decades, which is both more and less glamorous than you might imagine. He`s won some awards, but his blessings are more numerous: his amazing friends, his demented family, his beautiful husband, his loyal fans, and his silly, stern, seductive Muse who keeps whispering in his ear, year after year.

13 years agoI'm up so early because I'm a night shift nurse who worked Thursday night, spend most of the morning and early afternon at the doctor's office having an iron infusion (yuck!), and then napped for 3 hours, up to eat dinner, attempted to stay awake past 9, but failed, and such I have now been up since 230!!! Thank god for blogs like these to keep me entertained! Of course I have my kindle close by as well!:-)

13 years agoI'm heading out grocery shopping before the crowds hit the roadways…I hope! Both my "boys" are home for a few days, and I anticipate the food disappearing pretty quickly! Then there's the annual fudge to make, another couple batches of Grandma's Christmas Cookies to bake (we've eaten through the first few), wrapping the last of the gifts, Christmas Eve dinner. And then, if I haven't yet fallen face down on my bed in a dead sleep, off to church for the midnight service. 🙂 I truly am blessed with all this to get me up this early. Wishing all a Happy Hanukkah, a joyous Christmas, and a healthy and prosperous 2012!

13 years agoGood morning! I'm always up early, but this morning, I just got some ribs ready to put on the grill. Little rub here, little rub there. It will be interesting to see how they cook, considering its about 15 degrees here, right now. We're taking them to the inlaws tonight and giving some to my Dad to take to with him where he's going for an annual Christmas Eve ribfest. Then tommorrow, after the kids are done opening their gifts, DH and I will start the appetizers to take to my Dads house For Christmas Day! Always a busy time of year! Have a great day:)

This is a tradition I will always keep.
Merry Christmas from me to you.

13 years agoMy 12 year old daughter was awake at 6 am! She was on Norad.com doing the game of the day and tracking Santa before I could get dressed to run up to Starbucks. Then we had to go around the house to find all of the elves in their hiding spots! Buddy, the Elf on The Shelf, tepeed our Christmas tree! Yeah, that's going to be a huge mess.
Now, I'll make a big breakfast as we have my brother in law in town from Nashville and maybe try to enjoy the day. 🙂
Thanks and Happy Holidays!

13 years agoWell I didn't get in until after 1 this morning from having Christmas with my son's to be wife and her children. We were at my parents house. Having little one's in the house again was a joy but also tiring. After cleaning up my moms kitchen I made the track home over an hour drive to my house. Didn't fall asleep until after 3:00 a.m. only to be woke up around 5:45 a.m. for the dogs wanting to be let out and fed. So up for that and feeding horses. By the time this is all over I get notice for this Santa watch and figue I will take a nap and look at it later.
So this saying I'm here now and still tired. So going back to take another nap. Merry Christmas everyone.
