Greetings one and all!
I’m Kaye Spencer (I have a writing alter-ego named A.L.Debran) and I/we live in the far southeastern corner of Colorado — no mountains in sight–just prairie dogs, dust, and buffalo grass as far as the eye can see. I like to tell people that I live where…where way out west we’ve got a name for rain and wind and fire. The rain is Tess, the fire’s Joe, and we call the wind Mariah. (Anyone recognize those song lyrics and the movie?)
I write sensual and erotic romances and I have a tendency to write cowboys into my stories whether historical Old West, vampire, or contemporary. In fact, my very favorite movie line is from Quigley Down Under. At the end of the movie, Quigley outdraws Marston (heart thumping here for Alan Rickman as a “cowboy”) in a gunfight and as Marston dies, Quigley looks down at him and says, “I said I never had much use for one. Never said I didn’t know how to use it.”
Fall in love…faster, harder, deeper with…

13 years agoOh Kaye, I love that movie, and indeed a great last line in the movie. I have yet to visit Colorado, maybe one day, I really would like, too
