There is something so soothing and comforting about life on the Isle of Wight, Dr. Jeff Martin cannot imagine living anywhere else. Not even staying in the closet is enough to make Jeff want to move to Manchester. Which may be part of the reason his boyfriend cheats on him.

Cameron Gillard is an all-or-nothing kind of guy, especially when it comes to his heart. The attraction he has for the local GP has been hard to ignore. Which makes no longer having to do so a huge relief.

Even as much as the breakup with Tris hurts, Jeff does not doubt his decision, but he does question the powerful attraction to Cameron. It is way too soon to get caught up in another man. Especially when that man is a local, and everyone will know Jeff is gay. Coming out in such a small community is never easy, although Cameron and his friends are a huge support system. What Jeff is not ready for is falling back into the same pattern of pushing his wants and needs aside while letting his lover always take the lead.

When it comes to honest, hard-working, and wonderfully affectionate men you will not find any better than Jeff and Cameron. I love that they actually enjoy each other’s company, have fun together, nag and pick on each other, and care very deeply for those around them. This story is rich with the kindness and generosity of a small town, as well as its more annoying counterparts like gossip and nosiness. I thoroughly enjoyed Jeff and Cameron, and cannot wait to read more from Ms. Brown.
