Digging up dirt on celebrities is not exactly Phillip Drake’s idea of award winning journalism, but it pays the bills. Outing gays is his trademark. It also makes him feel like the biggest hypocrite on the planet.

Most people would consider Gary Caldwell nuts for agreeing to be shadowed by a shark like Drake. Being attracted to the journalist could definitely cause problems, although Gary hopes differently.

Spending time with Gary is completely messing with Phillip’s control Gary’s easy-going manner, as well as his ability to see Phillip like no one else, threatens to tear down the wall that protects his heart Every hour he spends with Gary makes him even more disgusted by the man he has become. Gary deserves more than a man whose entire life is a lie; a man with scars so deep he may never be able to feel whole.

Phillip Drake will never win a popularity contest, yet there is much more to the man than his public persona. With Gary’s prodding, his emotions are leaking all over the place, which is not exactly to Phillip’s liking. It is so engaging to watch Gary work his magic on Phillip. You really want him to succeed, even though Phillip throws up every roadblock he can think of.
