Fun in the sun

I think the one book that comes to mind for me is The Last Summer (of You and Me). Ann Brashares writes a tale that has transpired over the years between three people. It reminded me of a time of growing up, choosing friends, and sticking with those that were most dear. Within her story, I could feel the ambiance that shines between each of the players. I could smell the lovely scent from the water, imagine sitting along the waters edge, reading a book, or watching boats go by. A story that brings out many sensations that allows the reader to share in, and recall moments in their own life, while getting a complete visual of everything around them. By painting a background with the elements of a water scenery, she creates a read that allowed this reader to enjoy makings of a good day of fun in the sun, and to forget all of ones’ little problems throughout the day.
