My alter-ego, Day Leclaire loves fantasy romance and there’s one book in particular that you might enjoy.

There’s an amusing backstory behind this book …

I wrote the beginning of this book early in my career and it was rejected by my publishing house because the heroine was … a pixie. Yup. I couldn’t do a pixie for a heroine.

But when I decided I wanted to write fantasy romance, I returned to the story, rewrote and finished it. It was a total joy to bring that story to life. So, I’m thrilled to have you try it!

These two little cuties curl up in my lap while I write. One sets up camp in my armpit–which does make writing a “Lil’Bit” of a challenge!–the other in my lap. Sometimes they switch places, lol, but Cricket will whimper if Lil’Bit takes his spot.

I ADORE animals and often include them in my books. Do you enjoy reading stories with pets?
