Recently widowed, prison psychologist Emily McCann is struggling with her recent return to work. When Kate notifies Emily that one of her inmates might be on the short list of suspects, Emily is immediately on alert. Not only is Walter Fearon disturbed, he has recently begun to fixate on Emily.

As Kate’s team gets closer and closer to the killer, all evidence points to someone within the prison. Emily’s gut tells her that Walter Fearon is dangerous, but is he the killer? As the games begin and the body count rises, it is a race to the finish with Emily’s life hanging in the balance.

This twisty mystery will have you guessing until the very end. Readers should be warned not to think they have any idea what is coming. With a fast paced story and a lot of angst ridden personal relationships between the characters, this is most definitely an interesting read.
