Blood in the Cut: An Evening with Alejandro Nodarse
June 12 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT
Blood in The Cut brims with dangerous energy in the face of existential entropy. A fantastic story.”—S. A. Cosby, New York Times bestselling author of All the Sinners Bleed
Fans of gritty, dark thrillers will not want to miss this exciting debut from Miami author Alejandro Nodarse!
Sharp as a butcher knife gleaming in the Miami sun, Nodarse’s Blood in the Cut opens onto a deeply personal vision of the streets and swamps of Miami, where the roots are crooked but strong as mangroves.
Join Nodarse and local author Craig Pittman at the bookstore for a deeper dive into some great Florida noir that explores themes of ace, poverty, masculinity, and crime.
Alejandro Nodarse holds an MFA from the University of Miami and is an alum of Las Dos Brujas Writers Conference and a former staff member of the VONA Writers Conference. Blood in the Cut is his debut novel.
