Thanks for having me today. I’ve been a member of Coffee Time Romance for over a year, but I haven’t written a blog until today. Let me introduce myself–I’m Fran McNabb and I write light romances. By “light” I mean romances that stay within the G to PG rating.
I first published with Avalon Publishing in 2006. I had three books with them, then one with Montlake Publishing, two with The Wild Rose Press, and two Indie books. I have contemporary, historical and romantic suspense. As you can see, I like many genres.
Even though I have only two historical romances, I think writing in that genre is my favorite. WINDSWEPT, published by Montlake, is set in 1838 in beautiful Key West. When a violent storm wrecks the ship of heiress Virginia Ames, she is rescued by the dashing Captain John Slater, a man who makes his living salvaging wrecked ships. Captain Slater once lost all he held dear to the sea and the winds, but those same winds have brought him a gift: the lovely Virginia. Dare he risk his heart again?
WINDSWEPT is on sale until June 24 for $1.99. https://amzn.com/B008RBSO3Y
