Not much is going on in the Claudine household, We have made it into the fall transition very well. I did jump off the deep end and bought a plant, I am happy to say said plant is still alive! I am currently reading Deep Kiss of Winter by Gena Showalter and Kressley Cole so far it’s pretty hot. I will leave you all with one of our favorite recipes, it’s quick and simple and everyone loves it. Fair warning it is so not on any diet lol
What you will need
1 bag carmel (50)
3 Tbs butter
2 Tbs water
12 cups air popped popcorn
1 cup cocktail peanuts
4 squares bakers chocolate finely chopped
PREHEAT the oven to 300. Put Carmel, butter or water in saucepan- low heat until everything is melted. Stir frequently.
COMBINE popcorn and peanuts in a big bowl. Pour your carmel over popcorn mixture and carefully stir until mixture is all over your popcorn. Spread your carmel /popcorn on a greased cookie sheet( or cover a cookie sheet with tin foil)
BAKE for 20 minutes stir after 10. Sprinkle with chocolate, toss mixture. Spread onto peice of wax paper on the counter until mixture is completely cooled. Break apart your popcorn and store in a container with a lid.
