I’m so excited that the Claw Marks anthology will be out on October 3rd. My story, Carnal Awakenings, is about Anna and her two new lovers. I hope you like this little excerpt.
Nick waved Anna over. Her silky dress clung to her body, highlighting her curvy figure. As she approached he stood and held out his hands. She came willingly but her hug was stiff. He stepped back and studied her face. When she bit her lip he knew she must have been nervous. Nick held onto one hand as he stepped back and introduced her to Mike.
“Anna, this is Mike. Mike, Anna.”
Mike had risen and stepped forward. “Mmm, Nick said you were beautiful,” Mike bent and kissed Anna’s hand, his eyes staying locked with hers, “but you are so much more than just beautiful.”
Anna’s gaze flew back and forth between the men. “It’s nice to meet you. Actually, more than nice.”
Nick loved the way her cheeks pinked up while they talked. Tonight was going to be amazing. Nick sensed the excitement building between Mike and Anna.
As soon as Mike dropped Anna’s hand Nick pulled her into another hug, his lips finding hers, coaxing her to open for a deep kiss. When he ended the kiss she stepped back and swayed on her feet. Nick could tell she was hooked. Anna may not have been into having two guys at once before now, but after tonight she would be.
Anna’s gaze darted to Mike. Nick loved the smile in Mike’s eyes and on his lips. He’d made a good decision trusting his gut. Anna was a good fit for their little family.
“Are you hungry?” Mike asked.
“Yes, but not for food,” Anna purred as she licked her lips.
Nick smiled and Mike growled.
“My hotel is right around the corner. Though I don’t have any condoms. I didn’t think I would be having sex this week,” Anna whispered as Nick stole another kiss.
Mike slid his arms around her, turned her face up to his and brushed his lips across her cheek. “I’ve got the condom’s covered. And I’ll make sure you’re more than satisfied.”
“I like the sound of that,” Anna purred.
Nick took her other arm and they walked three abreast up the hill to Anna’s hotel. The wind whipped up behind them, bringing in a wave of fog that obscured the bay. A foghorn sounded in the distance and warmed Nick’s heart, making him happy he and Mike had come together to San Francisco for his round of meetings.
