Good Morning, Everyone, C.H. Admirand here. I’m delighted to be blogging at CTR today. This is my first visit blogging, so it might take me a bit to get up to speed, I’m used to blogger, as you can see by the positioning of my book cover. My 10th book, TYLER, was released March 1st from Sourcebooks. It’s the first book in my new series: The Secret Life of Cowboys. I’ve had some wonderful reviews for TYLER, which is so exciting as it’s my debut into mass market from the library market.
My first book, THE MARSHAL’S DESTINY, was published by Avalon in 2001, but it wasn’t until 2007 that I sold my second book–and five more! It was a banner year for me, and everything seemed to happen at once. It was difficult not to let the discouragement of my editor leaving Avalon before my first book was actually published and being orphaned get to me. Finally finding a home for the second book in my Irish Western Series with Five Star was such a thrill, but equally exciting was receiving the email from DCL Publications that they wanted my Medieval Trilogy and two short stories for their first anthology. A month later The Wild Rose Press bought the first book in my Regency-Era Historical Trilogy. My head was spinning, but my fingers were flying over the keyboards doing edits. It was the most productive year I’ve had. To read more about my books, visit my website at www.chadmirand.com
When you visit my website, check out the castle on the home page, it belonged to my Purcell ancestor’s – Loughmoe Castle in Tipperary, Ireland. When I write I love including bits and pieces of my Irish heritage and family names in all of my books. For my new series, I’m using my great, great, grandmother’s maiden name: Anna Garahan Flaherty. And so the Garahan brothers: dark-haired, dark-eyed, handsome Texas hunks from Pleasure, Texas were born!
Here’s the back cover blurb for TYLER:
When Tyler Garahan said he’d do anything to save his family’s ranch, he never thought that would include taking a job as a stripper at a local ladies’ club. But the club’s fiery redheaded bookkeeper captures Tyler’s attention, and for her he’ll swallow his pride…
Emily Langley feels for the gorgeous cowboy. It’s obvious that he’s the real deal and wouldn’t be caught dead at a ladies’ revue if he wasn’t in big trouble. And when he looks at her like that, she’ll do anything to help.
Working days on the ranch and nights at the ladies’ club, Tyler would be plumb exhausted if he didn’t suddenly discover that the club is in the same boat as his ranch, and his beautiful boss needs him as much as he needs her…
I’ll let everyone catch up on this post while I grab another cup of tea, and before you ask why I’m a little late, yes I ignored by 5 am alarm, and completely forgot about the time change.
See you shortly!

I’ll have to write about a heroine who enjoys a glass of Port and occasionally…a good cigar! LOL Thanks for stopping by. 😉

14 years agoI’m avoiding the excerpts since I know this is on its way to me (and I can hardly wait for its arrival). When I wrote up the contest for Tyler, my heart was racing & my palms sweaty just from the excerpt on your site. What woman doesn’t love an Irish cowboy? Especially if he lives in Pleasure? LOL Welcome to our blog! I’ll check back later on today.
