Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, grandmothers, and everyone in general, have a certain moment that touches their life. A simple handshake, a cuddly newborn, an endearing relationship between friends sends sensations that can easily be remembered.

Poetry consists of words; often long or short, but no matter what the length, the words often strike a chord. The moment I began reading the poems inside this book, I was hooked. I thought Heaven is Red was the best opener. It brings to mind the love of a child and shows how one can learn from their simplicity and heartfelt creations.

From leaning upon a child for comfort, to consoling oneself in the beauty of heaven, poetry has a way of reaching the soul. From learning to reach out to our Maker above who can console, comfort, and answer prayer, one is uplifted with the beautiful words that enhance the beauty of this book. ‘Mommy why are you crying’, were words that struck me as I thought of my own child when worry reflects inside the eyes. More Than My Heart held a special bond when it speaks of a widow and broken hearts.

From wounded spirits to learning how to love, and be loved, the delightful poems in Tapestry Wings will make one reflect on a good many things that life has to offer. There were many times I could share in the pain, the joy and the moment that each verse brings to life. Set Free brings on tender words of ‘I forgive you,’ in a touching echo. The Empty Staircase reflects upon many related things in my life. With so many sounds and experiences, emotions ring loudly in this chorus of words. Stephanie Sullivan, without a doubt, creates a lasting friendship that will make anyone smile.
