The father of the young man is also soon found dead. With both deaths, it leaves a list of people that can be considered suspects, everyone from family members to the massage therapist who befriended the father.

A cast of characters consisting of the local sheriff, Mae December, a deputy, a detective, and a few more that must pull resources together to catch a killer. Hopefully they can do it before someone else ends up hurt or even the next murder victim.

As always with a book in a series, I recommend reading them in order whether or not they are stand alone or a continuing story. This 4th book in the Mae December series is a delight to read. An eclectic cast of characters take a murder mystery on an interesting spin making for a humorous and adventurous mystery. The icing on the cake is the adorable dogs.
