Good morning Book and Coffee lovers! It is a lovely day here in south-central Colorado after a wild weekend. On Saturday we broke a record with a high of 80 here in Colorado Springs. Overnight there were winds up tot the 75-80 mph range which did quite a lot of damage and then by Sunday afternoon it was mid 30s and snowing!! Now I noticed some of today’s authors also live in Colorado so please don’t be offended but this is NOT my kind of place and those drastic changes are just too much!!
Now the weather has moved on and is impacting other places. Some of our folks may not be able to join us today because of it. I will just pray all are safe and secure whatever Mother Nature throws at you!
Anyway today we are featuring “cowboys and Indians” which is my overall favorite of favorites and I know will be fun.
A word about contests and drawings: COMMENTS get you entered, readers, so do not be bashful. Several authors are giving away either signed books or downloads. CTR will have a tote bag gift full of some neat prizes and goodies plus the regular $25 gift certificate to the CTR bookstore. You sure do not want to miss a chance for that!
So a big howdy to everyone. Light and sit a spell with us and lets talk westerns!!

13 years agoI’m in southeastern Colorado (Springfield) and I have to add here that the wind was vicious down in this part of the state also. We had daybreak prairie fires Sunday morning and more later in the day just a few miles to the east. Then we had snow on the ground this morning. 🙂
