She is making her way as a landscape architect and soon might have landed a very large boost for her company, but it comes with complications and may not be all she hopes.
Graham Mackenzie is a wealthy man and is the head of an energy company that deals in the natural gas industry. A company that deals with the art of fracking. He wants Alice to design an elaborate garden for his home.
At the near completion of the garden project, Alice soon finds out the offer is not what it seems. She soon finds herself right smack in the middle of what becomes a possible murder, and that even her life may be in danger.
What a controversial subject that is straight from the headlines; the practice of fracking. It makes for a thought provoking read. Alice’s life and many others become front and center while undertaking such a subject. The characters keep up the twists and turns that finally lead you to the last page of a story that is part mystery and so much more.
