Since this is the eighth Book Brew event I have hosted (already!! wowsers) I think we’ll play a game today and I’m going to put up a special prize for those who play with me! Several times during the day I will post a list of eight faves that have to do with the “western” genre and tomorrow I will throw the names of everyone who joins in into a hat and draw a winner who will receive a package of 12 DVDs with episodes of many of the old famous and less famous ‘western’ TV series from the past. This is a really neat collection and has 120 hours worth of shows on it–episodes from Maverick, The Rifleman, Bonanza etc. For some of you it would be a nostalgia trip like it is for me; for others you can maybe meet some of these characters for the first time or share them with you kids and grandkids. They are all PG level stuff so no worries about who watches with you!
