With his freshman year ready to start, Johnny Falabella could not be more thrilled. Being a theatre major and having the sexiest roommate ever, Johnny is giddy with excitement.
Show business is David Star’s ticket out. To better his acting skills he focuses on every nuance of a person’s character, their emotions, and actions.
Right from the start Jonathan is swept away by David’s charisma. Being taken under his wing is incredible, although Jonathan is increasingly concerned with David’s nighttime excursions. His feelings for David grow deeper each day, yet it is becoming very clear something else is going on. Jonathan’s good friend Barry, and even David himself, try to discourage Jonathan’s feelings, but emotions are very seldom rational.
David is like a gravitational force. His personality draws people to him, holding them spellbound. Jonathan is so young and easily influenced; he cannot help but fall head over heels for David. With David’s character, this author does a great job of showing how two-dimensional some people can really be. The heart and soul of this story is Jonathan, even though his affections for David showcase of his youth and immaturity.
