A beautiful love story reminiscent of Mr. Sparks’ The Notebook, Sand Dollar plays upon the notion of the road not taken. Readers will be enchanted by the deep abiding love between two characters that seem peppered with insurmountable odds. That said the constantly shifting timeline and narrative breaks in the story can be somewhat jarring to the story’s flow.
