Welcome, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Anna Parrish for taking the time to answer these questions for Coffee Time Romance. Today we are asking Anna about her story, Kera, the Science Fiction Romance.   

About a year.

How long have you been writing?  

Since the fourth grade.

What kind of schedule do you follow when your writing if any?  

I write during the day.

What was your motivation behind Kera?  

I saw her in my mind; I felt her great… no, not shyness, but it seemed like that.  I wanted to know why she couldn’t connect with Jon.

How did you come to the decision to self publish versus finding a publisher?  

I tried, God knows how hard I tried.  No one wants to take on a new writer.

Did you have any problems during the creation of your story?  What were they if
any?  

I had lots of problems!  I had to do a great deal of rewriting.  I discarded a lot of it.

Do you work with an outline for your books? Or do you just write?  

I just write, which is funny because I’m teaching the little boy next door to brainstorm and
write down all the ideas he wants to use, almost like an outline.

Do you ever suffer from Writers block? How do you deal with it when it
happens?

I do, all the time.  I just go to a different story.  that’s how Danger by Moonlight got written.

Do you currently have anything coming out soon? Anything in the planning
stages?

I am in the midst of doing Vengetti, a science fiction where the main character is a man who loses the girl for a long time.

What encouraging words would you give to aspiring authors, if you could?  

Write, write, write.  Even if others say you stink, even when you get discouraged, write.
