Hi Bonnie,
Thank you for the complement on the website. I just learned earlier this year how to develop my own websites, so your comment makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something in the tech world.
I have been writing for a long time. I first became interested in writing when I was 12 years old. I enjoyed reading Victoria Holt books. (That dates me, doesn’t it?) She is the master of young romantic suspense. I believe that is probably why I always have some twists and turns in my books. I didn’t become serious about my writing until my senior year in high school when an English teacher encouraged me to try to get my works published. I finally did in college. By the way, this same teacher bought one of my books. You can imagine the embarrassement I felt when I thought about this very proper teacher reading some of the steamy love scenes. But that was soon forgotten when I encountered a former student who purchased one of my books. That brought another shade of red to my face.
My favorite part of writing? Probably just writing. Seeing the words magically appear on the pages and the story unfold as I wanted it to. My most hated part? edits from the publisher. Reading through the manuscript 3 or 4 times becomes quite tedious for me. I hate to say it, but by the 4th time, I’m really sick of reading my manuscript.
Currently, Aidan’s Chance is available from all the on-line bookstores like amazon, barnes and noble, etc. It is also available at my website, www.judilynne.com if anyone is interested in an autographed copy. It is slightly cheaper (only $12.50 plus shipping) there (hint, hint)and I send it out priority mail.
It is also available as an e-book from fictionwise.com. I’m really excited that it is ranked as the 4th bestseller from all the books published by my published, Vintage Romance Publishing.
I’m working on the sequal to Aidan’s Chance entitled Kylee’s Revenge. If all works out as it should, it will be available at the end of next year.
I definitely will enjoy this week. I’m going to go find an excerpt to Aidan’s Chance to post.
