The story has real potential but there is little character development. The actions of the people involved seem weak and odd; seemed more like high school.  I was never invested in the story and found it lacked substance. The only redeeming part is the author can provide a hint of passion. I think the writer has potential for writing a good story; unfortunately, this was not one of them.
