Of all the characters in my books, I share the same personality type as my heroine in THE PROTECTOR, Eryn McClellan. Eryn, like me, is an Idealist Teacher. Also like me, Eryn grew up all over the world. Having been exposed to multiple languages, she became an English-as-a-Second Language teacher—something I did as well, though only briefly. 

Unlike me, Eryn is being hunted down by terrorists wanting to avenge her father’s actions in Afghanistan.
