Silly question? Not in Madame Eve’s world! As the one-and-only owner of the wonderous 1Night Stand dating service, she hears this all the time.

Not to be confused with a one-night stand, hook-ups that tend not to end well and often cause the participants to hide from each other the next time they cross paths, a 1Night Stand is a real date (yes, the participants do hook up), planned by Madame Evangeline in her most meticulous, often paranormal, way. She knows what the partners need, even when they don’t. What may seem like a ridiculous match becomes a happily-ever-after, or at the least, a happily-for-now.

Kate Richards (don’t know her? You’re missing out, she’s an awesome author/editor), Olivia Starke (another amazing author and lovely, too!) and I came up with the idea of writing a little series about a mysterious Frenchwoman who pairs people up on dates. Some longstanding secondary characters were introduced that readers have grown to love and like to see in subsequent stories. And once those three books were written and submitted to Decadent Publishing, I asked the owner, on a whim, if we could invite some other authors to write for this series.

What evolved, over a period of three years, was over two-hundred stories, and climbing. It’s extremely popular, mainly because (we think) Madame Eve is a shadowy presence who can create special unions, and in the most satisfyingways.
