I was lucky enough to meet my soul-mate early on. We lived in the same small community, went to the same high school (albeit 1 year apart), had several of the same friends and still we’d never met until he found me on the internet. I frequently played Yahoo games in high school and was playing one such game when I received a message from a stranger. Now, I’d never spoken to someone I didn’t know before, but for some reason he drew me and his humor kept me enthralled. We messaged back and forth for some time before we actually met and even then we didn’t start dating for another year. We moved in together several months later. Two years later he gave me a Valentine’s Day treasure hunt with an engagement ring and a proposal at the end of it. A year and a half after that we were married and spending a week in Maui. We’ve been living happily ever after since.
