Touched by an Angel Contest!!!

Hi everyone. Want to win a download of Touched by an Angel? In this book, I use angels, yellow roses and the cemetery as my theme. Charles  wants no part of romance after burying the great love of his life. But when Cupid starts shooting arrows from the sweet hereafter, things take quite a turn. The message I hope to convey through Touched by an Angel  is to live life to the fullest and make every day count.  The reason I used the yellow rose in this story of inspiration is because of their sentimental value to me. When I was in the hospital for my scheduled brain surgery, I received baskets of yellow roses. To this day, I associate yellow roses with angels. They are everywhere watching over us and keeping an eye out. Have a sentimental reason for your favorite rose? I’d love to hear it. Leave me a comment and you might be the chosen winner for a copy of Touched by an Angel. I hope it will touch your life in the way it has touched mine.

Sharon, I already have a copy of your beautiful story, “Touched by an Angel.” Besides my lavender garden, I have a yellow/coral rose garden on one side of the house. The Graham Thomas (I think it’s called) is a bright yellow with a good smell. However, Blue Girl, a lavender rose is my absolute favorite. It’s lavender/blue with a wonderful smell. I don’t really go by how roses look, but by how they smell. That’s for all my plants—gardenias, magnolias, wisteria, honeysuckle, jasmine, and herbs, including rose scented geraniums. Once, I had a deep red rose I loved with the Damask smell. It wasn’t very hardy, but that is my favorite smell for roses.

Julie, what a lovely garden you must have. You described your flowers so well I can smel them! I think that’s my favorite part of spring, the delicate scent of freshly budding flowers and roses. My favorite scent is lilacs, hands down. But a close runner up is honeysuckle. It takes me back to my childhood when we used to pick wild flowers in the meadow.
