but you can carry on informally until midnight. It’s just that my coach has turned back to a pumpkin and I gotta make a jack-o-lantern now and start thinking ahead for November. That event will be on Nov 4 and the usual hours. We will feature fall and winter sports, getting snowbound and other fun type seasonal stuff–but not holidays as that is saved for December. Still between football, hockey, skiing, skating, sled dogs and things like that I can bet we will have some exciting adventures and a bunch of fun. To a desert rat like me most of that is kind of exotic and exciting although I did live in Colorado long enough to “enjoy” a howling blizzard or two and being snowed in briefly. My parents were kind of into skiing and tried to teach me when I was small but I decided that sitting on my backside in cold and wet was just totally not fun and never got too enthused! And as for ice skates–even when I was young and had strong bones, that scared me spitless but I love to watch it!
So thanks authors for sharing a wonderful day with us and thanks readers for your enthusiasm and jumping in to chat and visit. We had a great day and I am sad to see it end. A very happy Halloween to each of you and yes, Day of the Dead as well! (S0metimes celebrated Nov 1 and sometimes Nov 2) We can honor our departed loved ones and all which I think is a pretty cool tradition!
I’ll pick my winner tomorrow and my partner and helper Sabrina will be doing the big $25 gift cert winner, our author winner and any prizes authors asked us to handle for them and all the winners will be contacted and announced tomorrow here and on the CTR Yahoo groups! See you next time!
