Thursday Thirteen with Julie Lence

As a western romance writer, you’d think I’d choose a western topic. I didn’t. I chose a place I have loved since I was a little girl, New York City.

Thirteen Things I love About New York City:

1. Spending time with my grandmother when she was alive.
2. Radio City Music Hall and the Rockettes
3. Yankee Stadium (The original Yankee Stadium)
4. Hot dogs from the street vendor
5. The Plaza
6. Window shopping along Fifth Avenue
7. Riding the subway
8. The city lit up at night
9. Rockefeller Center
10. Walking and blending in with the crowd
11. Macy’s and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
12. Broadway shows
13. Standing still and absorbing the heartbeat of the city

When you get a chance, drop by some of the other author blogs to check out their lists, and just say hi. Have a great day!

Hi Victoria: We lived in VA for a few years. The mountains there are gorgeous! And like you, I like American History, from the 1800’s era. It just fascinates me. I don’t get in to the Civil War much, but I like to learn about every day life in the west and what the area looked like.
