Thirteen Reasons to Vacation in Vegas

1.  People Watching – Can you find any stranger people?  Maybe in New York or L.A but Vegas is in the top three.  If someone will wear it then Vegas is where you will see it.  You will see the riches turn into some of the poorest in minutes flat.

2.  Hot Sexy Men – Let me tell you there are another beefcake shows going on there.  Chippendales and Thunder Down Under are choice but heck if you hang around long enough you can see them serving drinks and strutting through the casinos.  LADIES KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED!

3.  Food – There is such diverse types of food around every corner.  If it is not served in Vegas then it must not be food.  Emeril, Wolfgang and many others all have restaurants available and if you are looking for a simpler fair then there are a ton of buffets everywhere with simple foods at a reasonable rate.

4.  Concerts – There are so many concerts in the area it amazes me that anyone has time to gamble; from Celene to Cher and the very sexy Nickelback and Justine TImberlake can you say YUM!!!

5.  Celebrities – If you sit in one place long enough you will eventually run into someone famous.

6.  Rio – Everyone has their favorite place to go but mine is the Rio.  From the extremely yummy Chippendales to the flair bartenders downstairs, Vince Neil Tattoo parlor, and the ever famous Voodoo lounge.  If you have no clue what the Voodoo lounge is the you can never call yourselves a Motley Crue Fan.  Of course if you need a little magic in your life then Penn and Teller will be right up your alley.

7.  CSI Fans – This if for the geek in you.  I recommend the CSI experience inside the MGM Grand.  My best friend and I went and we had a blast as a matter of fact if we had the time we would have solved all three cases.  My honorary investigation certificate is on my desk top.  YES I AM A NERD WHAT OF IT!

8. Freemont Street – I could spend all day on Freement Street, between the light show, the zip line overhead and the old school Las Vegas Freemont Street has something to offer everyone.  I especially love the window shopping in the area and the street vendors peddling their whares.

9.  If swimming is your cup of tea.  Well there are enough pools in this one city to keep any swimmer happy.  If the sun is unappealing to you then give the indoor pool and bar at the Tropicana a whirl.  Guaranteed good time with no chance of sun burn.

10.  Cirque Du Soleil is worthy of it’s own number as their shows are always spectacular.  If you like a lot of glamour and no little amount of adventure then make sure that you give this show a chance.

11.  Shopping – There is a whole lot of shopping available in Vegas.  Of course that should come as no shock as if you are winning they want you to spend your money there so be careful.  Shop around and find the places with the best bargains.  There are a lot of $10 stores everywhere in the casinos and I could spend all day at just those.

12.  Never fear if you are an outdoor person there is plenty to satisfy.  The iconic Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire, Lake Mead, and the Grand Canyon to name a few are in the local area.  If you want more information on the recreation areas try this site:  http://www.sceniclasvegas.com/

13.  Gambling/Night Clubs: I was uable to chose which of these I would like to put on the list so I put them both.  Gambling is as always a reason to go to Vegas but since not everyone is interested I figured I would add the night clubs.  With both you must choose wisely where you would like to spread your money around.  Either adventure could be costly so make sure that you talk to a local if possible to find out the best clubs for prices and the most entertaining casinos to go to.  After all if you are going to spend your money make sure you get your money’s worth.

Sounds like a good time, Delane. My hubby has been begging me for years to go to Vegas. I’m refusing to tell him about the Voodoo Lounge! He certainly loves him some Motley Crue.
