Taylor and Eve are two individuals who needed each other, and life throws them the opportunity. I liked the story line and most of the character development. I felt two some of the secondary characters were irritating and really did not fit the story line as one was a 5-year-old in a man’s body who seems to fail to grasp the trouble the family business is in, and a father who was too weak to face facts. Taylor and Eve, on the other hand, provided a smoking hot romance with a fast-paced track to forever. I like how the fire between the two characters smoldered for quite some time before it burst into flames. I enjoy reading the writing of Ms. Davis and find The Mechanic entertaining despite the hiccup of a brother and father who both act like kids unwilling to face reality.
