The Garden Primer

gardenprimerAre you tired of books that do not address your climate or your soil or your types of plants?  The Garden Primer does at least acknowledge the hazard.  The book steers away from formulas as a general rule and refers you to local resources, but answers lots and lots of questions.

This book’s aim is to answer as many elementary questions about gardening as jpossible.  The 673 pages should put a dent in this goal.  From what tools to buy to houseplants, you will find some great information.  If you can’t find it, check the Index.   It is extensive.  Mail-order sources and gardening societies are just a couple of items that you do not find in the average garden book.

The Garden Primer has been reprinted since I bought mine in 1988 and the current cover is new.   It appears that there is a bunch of folks that enjoy this book as much as I do.
