Allie Larkin lives in Rochester, New York, with her husband, Jeremy, their two German Shepherds, Argo and Stella, and a three-legged cat. She is the cofounder of  TheGreenists.com, a site dedicated to helping readers take simple steps toward going green. Stay is her first novel.

I absolutely loved this book. Joe is such a character and for him alone Stay would be a beautiful and entertaining read. Throw in a cast of characters who are so heart-breakingly human and a world that is so realistic, and you have a moving story of what happens when life leaves you no other option but to grow up. I laughed, cried, cheered and mourned with each of the characters, and for all of their foibles I loved them all. Joe is one companion that is the icing on a cake that I recommend you take a bite out of.
