The Inside Scoop behind Feral Instincts :

Feral Instincts was a story that just kept knocking around inside of my head until I simply couldn’t take it anymore and I just had to put it down on paper. The inspiration for this story was the single image of Teagan rescuing Ava from Salvatore (our evil dude). I had this vision in my head of Teagan looming next to the bed that Ava was chained to. I could see him, standing there in his beast form, fresh from a fight. I had this image in my mind of Ava. Fragile, brutalized, her mind beginning to shatter after being attacked by a vampire. She knows she has been changed and she is so scared of herself, and what she is becoming; she is unafraid of the beast standing over her. She crawls to Teagan, drawn to his scent, and innocently touches his chest. She looks up into his eyes and very sweetly asks him to kill her. I think that one vision is the reason I wrote the whole book. Everything else just evolved from there”¦ and OH how it evolved!
