Organic gardening is either a long word or something that sounds like hard work.  Well maybe…  Actually, it’s the new “green” that everyone is talking about.  It may actually entail some extra work, but it’s mostly about the chemicals and making the most of your resources. 

 This book a resource that every gardener needs.  It was originally published in 1992, but updated regularly.   It’s not one of those books that you sit down and read from cover to cover – at least not me.  It’s organized to allow you start at the beginning of your gardening season and continue on in order.  It also has a Table of Contents that allows for easy look-up.  The major entries are alphabetized from front cover to back.
